The 59th Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce election happening a day before the 60th Kannada Rajyotsava day is interesting because Kannada activist, noted producer Sa Ra Govindu and his team have won all the posts. The elections to the 2015-2016 were held from 2 to 6 pm on Saturday. The counting commenced after 6 pm. The results for key positions were declared around 8.30 pm.

KFCC new President is Sa Ra Govindu. He is the President of Dr Rajakumar Abhimanigala Sangha. He has produced many quality films in his career as producer.

Sa Ra Govindu has a great support of his colleagues such as Umesh Banakar as vice president of producer sector, MN Kumar VP of distributor sector, Jayaram DR VP of exhibitor sector, MG Ramamurthy general secretary, Producer sector, N M Suresh secretary distributor sector, Narasimhalu Secretary Exhibitor sector, Rajendra C is treasurer.

The counting to executive council is in progress at 9 pm on Saturday night.
